Diane Amos, Alison Arngrim, Tippi Hedren, Kate Linder Set for Vagina Monologues Benefit
Diane Amos, Alison Arngrim, Tippi Hedren, and Kate Linder will star in a benefit production of Eve Ensler’s The Vagina Monologues at Barnsdall Gallery Theatre in Los Angeles, February 18-20.
The performances are a culmination of a week-long series of events in conjunction with V-Day, aimed at increasing awareness by focusing on a specific group of women in the world who are resisting violence with courage and vision. In 2011, V-Day’s Spotlight Campaign will be on the Women and Girls of Haiti.
Amos is a stand-up comedian and actress perhaps most recognized as “The Pine-Sol Lady.” Arngrim is perhaps best known for playing Nellie Oleson in the TV show Little House on the Prairie, and has written a novel and toured a solo show based on her experiences entitled Confessions of a Prairie Bitch.
Hedren is well known for her film work, beginning with her debut in Hitchcock’s The Birds. Linder is a longtime cast member of the soap opera The Young and the Restless, and was recently honored with her own Star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
Tickets are $20. To RSVP or for more information, click here.
