PHOTO FLASH: Donna McKechnie Greets Creators of BROADS! The Musical on Opening Night

Tony Award winner Donna McKechnie was one of the many celebrities on hand for the opening night of BROADS! The Musical, which opened Friday, February 19 at El Portal Forum Theatre in North Hollywood. Jules Aaron has directed the production, which features choreography by Kay Cole.

The show features a book by Jennie Fahn and music and lyrics by Joe Symon, and focuses on a quartet of women living at Millennium Manor Retirement Village in South Florida. Broadway veterans Ivonne Coll, June Gable, Leslie Easterbrook, and Barbara Niles star.

Also in attendance on opening night were Marshall Borden, Ellen Crawford, Deborah Gibson, Basil Hoffman, Jackie Joseph, Lee Meriweather, Javi Mulero, Dick & Pat Van Patten, Jimmy Van Patten, Stephanie Zimbalist, and Joel & Candace Zwick.
