Bruce Davison, Marsha Mason, and Amy Pietz will star in L.A. Theatre Works’ production of Neil Simon’s California Suite, to be presented as part of their “The Play’s The Thing” radio series at the Skirball Cultural Center, February 17-21. Gwenn Victor will direct the production, which replaces the previously announced The Savannah Disputation. Additional casting will be announced shortly.

Simon’s four-part comedy explores the relationships of four couples, from London, Philadelphia, Chicago and New York, all of whom travel to California at different times during the year, each staying in the same Beverly Hills hotel suite.

The series will continue with The Constant Wife by W. Somerset Maugham, starring Kate Burton, John de Lancie, and Rosalind Ayres (Apil 14-18); Side Man by Warren Leight, starring Edie Falco and Frank Wood (May 12-16); She Stoops to Conquer by Oliver Goldsmith, starring James Marsters and Roy Dotrice (June 16-20); and Doctor Cerberus by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, starring Adam Arkin and JoBeth Williams (July 14-18).
