The play features a central character named Bill Cain, who, like the playwright, is a writer and Jesuit priest. Bill has come home to care for his dying mother -- a funny, tough, maddening woman. Cain's plays also include Equivocation, which is currently being given its New York premiere Off-Broadway by Manhattan Theatre Club.
Following the reading, which takes place on the Argyros Stage, audience members can participate in discussions with the playwright.
