ABC Family to Air Cassidy Brothers’ Ruby and the Rockits

The ABC Family cable network will air Ruby and the Rockits, a new comedy by brothers David, Shaun, and Patrick, according to published reports.
Shaun Cassidy is the executive producer, and the show stars Patrick Cassidy as a former teen idol whose quiet life is interrupted when his former bandmate and brother (David Cassidy) arrives, bringing his newfound teenage daughter (played by Alexa Vega) with him.
Patrick Cassidy was most recently seen on stage in LA’s Reprise production of I Love My Wife, and has starred on Broadway in 42nd Street, Aida, Annie Get Your Gun, Leader of the Pack, and The Pirates of Penzance. David and Shaun Cassidy starred together on Broadway in Blood Brothers.
