The NoHo Arts Center Hollywood has announced a lineup of guest speakers scheduled to host a series of talkbacks for the theater's world premiere production of The Gospel According to Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy: Discord.

Written by Scott Carter and directed by Matt August, the play follows three historical figures — Thomas Jefferson, Charles Dickens, and Count Leo Tolstoy — who find themselves locked in a room together, passionately debating life, art, religion, and politics.

Leading the cast are Larry Cedar (Orwellian) as Jefferson, David Melville (Hamlet) as Dickens, and Armin Shimerman (Star Trek: Deep Space Nine) as Tolstoy. Performances will begin January 11 in advance of a January 17 opening and will run for six weeks through February 23.

The talkback schedule is as follows:

January 11: The Reverend Sarah Winn Nichols (director of pastoral care for Episcopal Communities & Services).

January 12: Dr. Marco Pardo (spirituality and grief counselor at Cri-Help).

January 16: Michael Bruner (assistant professor of practical theology at Azusa Pacific University).

January 18: Gala Opening – Sold Out - Actress and Glee star Jane Lynch with American Savage author and Savage Love columnist Dan Savage.

January 19: Reverend Scott Colglazier (senior minister of the First Congregational Church of Los Angeles).

January 24: Matt August (director).

January 30: Kemp Powers (playwright, author of Rogue Machine Theatre's A Night in Miami).

January 31: Kevin Bailey (producer and NoHo Arts Center co-owner).

February 2: Reza Aslan (Zealot) with Rainn Wilson (The Office, Six Feet Under).

February 7: Kevin Bailey (producer and NoHo Arts Center co-owner).
