Victoria Clark will assume the role of Sally Durant Plummer in Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman’s Follies for its run at the Ahmanson Theatre, May 3 – June 9. She will join Broadway cast members Danny Burstein, Jan Maxwell, Elaine Paige and Ron Raines, who will be reprising their performances as Buddy Plummer, Phyllis Rogers Stone, Carlotta Campion, and Ben Stone, respectively.

Clark won a Tony Award for her performance in A Light in the Piazza and received a Tony nomination for her work in Sister Act. Among her other Broadway credits are Titanic, Cabaret, and Urinetown. In addition, she previously played the role of Sally in New York City Center’s Encores! presentation of Follies.

In the musical, when former members of the “Weismann Follies” reunite on the eve of their theater’s demolition, two couples remember their past and face the harsher realities of the present. Additional casting for the Los Angeles engagement will be announced in the near future.

The revival, directed by Eric Schaeffer, continues at Broadway’s Marquis Theatre through January 22 and features choreography by Warren Carlyle, music direction by James Moore, and the original orchestrations by Jonathan Tunick. The creative team also includes scenic designer Derek McLane, costume designer Gregg Barnes, lighting designer Natasha Katz, and sound designer by Kai Harada.
