Tavis Danz, John Towey to Star in Colony Theatre’s Old Wicked Songs

The Colony Theatre has announced casting for Old Wicked Songs by Jon Marans, February 4-March 4. Stephanie Vlahos will direct.

In the piece, Stephen is a young and brilliant American pianist who has come to Vienna with the hope of regaining his shattered confidence. As the glorious music floods the studio of his lonely, eccentric professor, the past collides with the present and the men slowly discover they have more in common than just the music they love.

The production will star Tavis Danz as Stephen Hoffman and John Towey as Professor Josef Mashkan.

The design team will include Stephen Gifford (set design), Jared A. Sayeg (lighting design), Kate Bergh (costume design), Drew Dalzell (sound design), and props design and set dressing will be by Colony Theatre resident designers MacAndMe.
