Sarrah Jessica Parker, Chloë Sevigny to Join Lovelace Film

Sarah Jessica Parker will play Gloria Steinem and
Chloë Sevigny will play the role of a feminist journalist in the upcoming film, Lovelace, about the life of porn star Linda Lovelace.


Rob Epstein and Jeffrey Freidman are directing the project, which has a screenplay by Andy Bellin. The movie revisits the life of Linda Boreman, who, using the screen name “Linda Lovelace,” became one of the first superstars of the erotic film industry after the film Deep Throat.

Amanda Seyfried will play the title role, with Peter Sarsgaard co-starring as Lovelace’s husband, Chuck Traynor. The film’s cast will also include Hank Azaria, Wes Bentley, Bobby Cannavale, Chris Noth, Eric Roberts. Adam Brody, Cory Hardrict, Debi Mazar, Robert Patrick, Sharon Stone and Juno Temple.

Parker’s Broadway credits include Annie, Once Upon a Mattress, and How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying, and her Off-Broadway credits include The Substance of Fire and Sylvia. Her many films include Failure to Launch, The First Wives Club, and What About the Morgans?. She is best known for playing the role of Carrie Bradshaw on HBO’s Sex and the City and the subsequent films.


Sevigny appeared Off-Broadway in What the Butler Saw. She received an Oscar nomination for Boys Don’t Cry, and won a Golden Globe for Big Love.
