Marcia Gay Harden to Star in NBC’s Isabel Pilot

Tony Award and Academy Award winner Marcia Gay Harden will star in NBC’s comedy pilot Isabel, according to published reports.


Harden will play Francis, the mother of the title character (to be played by Sophia Mitri Schloss), a young girl with magical qualities.


Harden won the Tony for God of Carnage and also starred on Broadway in Angels in America. She won the Oscar for Pollock, and received an Oscar nomination for Mystic River. She is also a two-time Emmy Award nominee for The Courageous Heart of Irena Sendler and Law & Order: SVU.
