Ken Howard to Appear on CBS’ The Young and the Restless

Tony Award and Emmy Award winner Ken Howard will appear on CBS’ daytime drama The Young and the Restless, beginning in February, according to TVGuide.com.

The actor will play George, the long-estranged father of Phyllis Newman (played by Michelle Stafford) and her sister, Avery Bailey Clark (played by Jessica Collins).

Howard won the Tony for Child’s Play, and his stage credits include Promises, Promises, 1776, The Norman Conquests, and According to Tip.
His film and television credits include 1776, J. Edgar, Adam’s Rib, and Grey Gardens, for which he won the Emmy Award.
