The show, set in Vienna in 1938, tells the story of Lisa Jura, a young Jewish pianist who is dreaming about her concert debut at the storied Musikverein concert hall. But, as new ordinances are issued under the Nazi regime, everything changes for her, except her love of music and the pursuit of her dream.
The creative team will include David Buess and Trevor Hay (scenic design), Chris Rhynne (lighting design), Erik Carstensen (sound design), and Greg Sowizdrzal (projection design).
Felder's other credits include his solo shows Monsieur Chopin, Maestro: Leonard Bernstein, and George Gershwin Alone, as well as Lincoln - An American Story for Actor and Symphony Orchestra, which, as previously reported, will premiere in March at the Pasadena Playhouse.
