Richard Kind, Kathy Najimy, Jon Tenney et al. Set for Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays January 31

Peri Gilpin, Rachel Harris, John Michael Higgins, Richard Kind, Kathy Najimy and Jon Tenney will perform in Standing on Ceremony: The Gay Marriage Plays at Largo at the Coronet on Monday, January 31 at 8pm. The performance will benefit the American Foundation for Equal Rights (AFER) and Equality California.

The program is comprised of short plays that look at the institution of marriage and relationships, written by Jenny Lyn Bader, Jordan Harrison, Jeffrey Hatcher, Moisés Kaufman, Neil LaBute, Wendy MacLeod, Kathy Najimy, José Rivera, Paul Rudnick, and Doug Wright. Conceived and directed by Brian Shnipper, these new provocative plays were created in response to the on-going battle for marriage equality throughout the United States.

Complimentary tickets will be available to members of the military in celebration of the repeal of “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell.”
