Matt Damon to Present Robert De Niro with Cecil B. DeMille Award; Jennifer Lopez, Robert Pattinson Among Golden Globe Presenters

Matt Damon will present the Golden Globe’s Cecil B. DeMille Award for Lifetime Achievement, which as previously reported, will be given to stage and screen star Robert DeNiro, according to published reports. The two actors previously appeared together in the film, The Good Shepherd.

De Niro appeared on Broadway in the 1986 play, Cuba & His Teddy Bear, for which he received a Theatre World Award. He has won two Academy Awards, for The Godfather, Part II and Raging Bull, and received nominations for his performances in Taxi Driver, The Deer Hunter, Awakenings, and Cape Fear.

Additional Golden Globe presenters who have been named include Garrett Hedlund, Jennifer Lopez, Leighton Meester, Robert Pattinson, with more names expected to be announced shortly.

The awards ceremony will be held on January 16 in Los Angeles, to be hosted by Ricky Gervais, and broadcast nationwide on NBC.
