Real-life husband-and-wife Orson Bean and Alley Mills will star in the West Coast premiere of Noel Coward’s A Song at Twilight, January 16-March 7. James Glossman will direct.

The play takes a sadly poignant and insightful look behind the curtain at sexual preferences, fame, wealth, titles, and privilege. The cast will also feature Laurie O’Brien and David Rogge.

The creative team will include Darcy Prevost (scenic design), Leigh Allen (lighting design), Audrey Eisner (costume design), and Vin Scelsa (sound design).

Bean received a Tony nomination for Subways Are For Sleeping, with additional Broadway credits including John Murray Anderson’s Almanac, Will Success Spoil Rock Hunter, and Never Too Late. He is also known for his film and television appearances, including Being John Malkovich and as a long-time panelist on the game show To Tell the Truth. Mills is perhaps best known as Norma Arnold on The Wonder Years and as Pamela Douglas on The Bold and the Beautiful.
