The Production Company Announces 2009 Season

The Los Angeles-based Production Company has announced the line-up for its 2009 season, which is already underway with the previously announced production of Jonathan Tolins’ The Twilight of the Golds, February 6-March 14. All productions will take place at the company’s home, The Chandler Studio Theatre.

The season will continue with John Lahr’s political thriller The Manchurian Candidate (March 27-May 2), to be directed by Robert Craig. Multiple Ovation-nominated director Robert Mamanna will helm Hugh Whitemore’s Breaking the Code (May 15-June 20), which tells the true story of WW2 code-breaker Alan Turing. Next up will be Paula Vogel’s How I Learned to Drive (June 26-August 1), directed by August Viverito. The season will conclude with director Derek Charles Livingsto’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeny Todd, August 14-October 3.
