Drawn from Simon's experiences growing up in New York City, the play is set during World War II, and features brothers Arty and Jay, who are left in the care of their frightfully intimidating Grandma and sweet but mentally slow Aunt Bella.

The cast will also include Evan Arnold, Jennifer Parsons, and Jayne Taini, with additional casting to be announced. The creative team will feature John Iacovelli (set), Craig Pierce (lighting), Richard Odle (costumes), and Josh Bessom (sound).
