New for this season, to warm your hearts during the cold winter months, we are offering Gilbert & Sullivan's Sweethearts. First, a quartet of our most talented singers will entertain your audience with an hour of Gilbert & Sullivan's most charming love songs. Among the well-known songs you will hear are "The Sun Whose Rays Are All Ablaze," "None Shall Part Us From Each Other," and even the delightful Nightmare Song, "Love, Unrequited, Robs Me of My Rest." Following the quartet performance, we will present the Long Island Premiere of Gilbert's 1874 play, Sweethearts. A delightful story that spans 30 years in the lives of two lovers who are too proud and/or shy to admit their feelings for each other, it is sure to bring a tear to the eye and a smile to your face.
