 | | Jessye Norman | Singer-songwriters Daniel Knox and Rufus Wainwright and opera legend Jessye Norman will take part in The Watermill Concert 2008: Last Song of Summer, to take place at 4pm on Saturday, August 30 at the Watermill Center. Proceeds will benefit the Center's artist residency program.
Knox's recordings include A Poison Tree and Window Music, and he has worked with such artists as David Lynch and David Coulter. Wainwright's many CDs include Release the Stars and Rufus Does Judy at Carnegie Hall. Norman, a former Kennedy Center honoree and Grammy Award Lifetime Achievement recipient, has recently performed in such works as Winterreise and La Voix Humaine.
Tickets, including a pre-show cocktail reception, range from $125-$500, and can be ordred by calling 212-253-7884, ext. 10.
