WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
Based on interviews with women of all ages and walks of life, Eve Ensler's The Vagina Monologues discusses the power, mystery, and excitement hidden inside a woman's body. This award-winning show offers a witty and often poignant insight into the humanity of women.
The Saturday, February 25 performance is part of the National V-Day campaign, which is a global movement to stop violence against women and girls.
The V-Day benefit performances of The Vagina Monologues will support the new Anti-Violence Project (AVP-LI) at LIGALY that will address violence against lesbian and bisexual women. A special VIP reception to meet the cast will be held at the LIGALY Center in Bay Shore before the Saturday, February 25th show. Reception tickets which include entry into the theatre can be purchased for $30.
