The Quiet Man, released in 1952, is the story of an American, Sean Thornton (John Wayne) who arrives in Ireland planning on settling there and reconnecting with his Irish roots. In his quest to reconnect with his Irish culture, he finds himself falling in love with a beautiful red-headed woman- Mary Kate Danaher
