Take a nostalgic walk down memory lane to a time when music was about simple harmonies and when the words really mattered. Doo Wop music gave kids on every street corner the opportunity to use the most powerful musical instrument available to them, their voices to create one of the most simple yet complex musical styles, mixing lyrical nonsense and intricate harmonies.

The YMCA Boulton Center for the Performing Arts presents 6 powerhouse a-capella groups as they serenade you with songs such as "My Juanita," "Teardrops," "Blue Moon" and "The Sun" to name just a few. Enjoy the opportunity to hear the harmonies created by some of the most talented singers in the tri-state area as well as the chance to fall in love again with the simplicity of the lyrics.
