WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
This acoustic trio of Blues musicians inject a sense of humor into their songs and take it with them on stage. Saffire is one of the most popular, witty and just plain satisfying acoustic Blues groups on the scene today. With their infectious sound Saffire re-established and updated the long tradition of uppity women Blues singers like Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith, Sippie Wallace and Memphis Minnie.
