Órla Fallon is a singer / harpist who comes from the village of Knockananna in Co.Wicklow, Ireland. Formerly with Celtic Woman, she has also recorded with the legendary Irish group Clannad and the acclaimed choral group Anuna. Her first album debuted on the Billboard World Music Top Ten. Her haunting, deeply moving renditions of traditional Irish airs and her self-penned compositions aroused the interest of musical director David Downes, who invited Fallon to join Celtic Woman for its 2004 inaugural show. Now, after her wonderful, exciting years of touring and recording with Celtic Woman, Órla Fallon feels the time has come to embark on a different journey, touring and promoting her solo work.
