An elite group of talented singers from Broadway and cabaret and join Barry Levitt, former Artistic Director of the 92nd Street Y's, "Lyrics and Lyricists" series to celebrate the glorious music of George and Ira Gershwin. George's genius meets Ira's wit in the American melting pot: it's the recipe for America's modern classic standards. Hosted by WNET Channel 13 and WQXR radio personality Midge Woolsey, who'll guide us through an evening of unforgettable song as TERRI KLAUSNER, DEBORAH TRANELLI, LAWRENCE HAMILTON, and SAL VIVIANO show us why they've got rhythm!
