Palmer is an aging, pompous actor. His wife, Angela, and his agent, Ted, are lovers and plan to murder Palmer on New Year's Eve. However, Palmer and Ted are also lovers, and have an identical plan to do in his wife. A murder occurs, but not the planned one.
