Announcing the premiere of the Long Island Comedy Festival. The Comedy Festival will be traveling all across Long Island this summer with 'live' stand-up comedy performances scheduled each month at many of the Island's great historic theater venues:

June 9 - 10 : The Boulton Center for the Performing Arts, Bay Shore
June 30 - July 1: Theatre Three, Port Jefferson
July 21-22: The Vail-Leavitt Music Hall, Riverhead
August 10: Westhampton Beach PAC, Westhampton
Sept. 1-2: Theatre Three, Port Jefferson

The mission of the Long Island Comedy Festival is three-fold:
1. Bring 'live' stand-up comedy back to Long Island.
2. Provide up and coming comics the opportunity to showcase their talents to Long Island audiences.
3. Support the not-for-profit theater venues of Long Island as well as the important downtowns in which they are located.
