This is the first ever Long Island concert for rabble-rousing musical theater writer Joe Iconis, whose Joe Iconis Rock and Roll Jamboree is currently running at The Laurie Beechman Theater in Manhattan on Monday nights. The concert will be a laid-back, fired-up evening of Iconis tunes, featuring fan favorites and songs from the writers' various musicals. Joe will be joined by many members of his musical family, including Katrina Rose Dideriksen (Tracy Turnblad in Hairspray, Vegas.), MK Lawson (Bloodsong of Love, Ars Nova), and Jared Weiss (The Wedding Singer, Sharon Playhouse.) Joe's debut album will be out on Sh-K-Boom Records this fall.
