This classic American musical tells the coming-of-age story of an overbearing stage mother and her two daughters during the vaudeville era. Music is by Jule Styne, with lyrics by Stephen Sondheim, and a book by Arthur Laurents. Gypsy features songs which have become classics in musical theater such as "Everything's Coming up Roses," "You Gotta Have a Gimmick," and "Let Me Entertain You."
