The Jeanne Rimsky Theater at Landmark on Main Street presents an evening of East Asian Indian Song and Dance. Partnering with Long Island Traditions and the Young Indian Culture Group, the program will feature master Bharanatyam and Kathak dancers, tabla and sitar players and classical singers. Come explore the ancient melodies and cultures of India and Pakistan with visually captivating and dramatic interpretations of traditional stories that have been part of Eastern Civilization for thousands of years. Hear Carnactic and Hindustani vocalists accompanied by live music ensembles that have studied with Indian masters.
