WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
An Evening of Traditional American Music arrives at Landmark, featuring Buddy Merriam and the Back Roads, Martha Trachtenberg & Tom Griffith, and the Milton Band. Sponsored by Citibank and WFUV Radio.
The evening features the music of three sets of performers whose music came out of true American traditions. Buddy Merriam and the Back Roads lead a bluegrass/country jubilee that have played together since 1980. The husband and wife duo out of Huntington, Martha Trachtenberg & Tom Griffith, perform folk music. And New York City singer/songwriter Milton brings his groovy band to round out the show with soul. Hosted by WFUV's John Platt.
