Laura Benanti to Play Long Island's Bay Street Theater

The Tony winner will perform a one-night-only concert this fall.

Tony winner Laura Benanti, who will soon be returning to the Broadway stage in the Roundabout Theatre Company revival of the musical She Loves Me, will take the stage at the Bay Street Theater for a one-night-only concert on Saturday, October 10, at 8pm.

Benanti's many Broadway credits include Gypsy (for which she won her Tony), Nine, The Sound of Music, Into the Woods, Swing!, The Wedding Singer, In the Next Room (or the vibrator play), and Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown.

On television, she has been seen in Go On, The Playboy Club, Starved, The Sound of Music LIVE!, and Nashville. Most recently, Benanti starred in Radio City Music Hall's New York Spring Spectacular. She hosted the Drama Desk Awards in 2014 and 2015.

Bay Street Theatre is a not-for-profit dedicated to presenting new, classic and contemporary works that challenge as well as entertain. The theater also provides educational programs for all ages, fostering the continued value of theater as a vital art form.
