The John W. Engeman Theater’s Presentation of Cinderella Set to Begin

Cinderella begins performances tonight at the John W. Engeman Theater at Northport.

The classic children’s fairy tale is centered on the character of Cinderella, a young girl whose father dies, leaving her at the mercy of her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. However, with the help of a Fairy Godmother, Cinderella is able to attend a royal ball, at which she steals the heart of the young prince. Left at the end of the night with only a shoe by which to identify her, the prince sets forth to find his love and live happily ever after.

Performances will run through May 10.
