Casting Set for Long Island Premiere of Tony-Nominated A Christmas Story — The Musical

Benj Pasek and Justin Paul’s musical will play the John W. Engeman Theatre in Northport.

Casting for the John W. Engeman Theater's production of the Tony-nominated A Christmas Story — The Musical has been announced. Directed by Richard Dolce, the show runs November 20-January 4.

Leading the company are Ethan Eisenberg (Ralphie Parker), Steve Luker (The Old Man), Gina Milo (Mother), Kathryn Markey (Miss Shields), and David Scmittou (Jean Shepard).

The adult ensemble includes Alyson Clancy, Emily Esposito, Chad Jennings, Larry A. Lozier Jr., Suzanne Mason, Lizzie Porcari, Michael Quattrone, Charlotte Vaughn Raines, Griffen Reese, Christopher Timson, and Viet Vo. The children's ensemble is made up of Laurel Caruso, Christopher Darrin, Katie Dolce, Evan Flannery, Vincent Gerardi, Erin Haggerty, Shelby Herling, Jake Kalinowski, Meaghan Maher, Shane McGlone, Ryan McInnes, Michael Meneschian, McKenzie Ann Mullahey, Michael Spencer, James Maxwell Tully, Alexandra Vallejos, Theron Viljoen, and Chloe Wheeler.

Nominated for six Drama Desk Awards and three Tonys (including Best Book, Best Score, and Best Musical), A Christmas Story, telling the story of a young boy's desire to obtain a B.B. gun for Christmas, is inspired by the cult-classic film of the same title and the stories of late humorist Jean Shepherd. The musical features a score by Benj Pasek and Justin Paul, and a book by Joseph Robinette.

The Engeman production features choreography by Antoinette DiPetropolo, musical direction by Jonathon Lynch, scenic design by Jonathan Collins, costume design by Tristan Raines, lighting design by Driscoll Otto, sound design by Craig Kaufman, and hair and wig design by Brandalyn Fulton.
