Zachary Quinto, Angelica Torn, Frank Wood, et al. Set for August 28 Side Man Benefit Reading

Zachary Quinto will play Clifford in a staged reading of Warren Leight’s award-winning play, Side Man, to be offered at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Sunday, August 28 at 7pm. Geoffrey Nauffts will direct the performance, which will raise funds for Naked Angels’ work developing new plays.
The memory play focuses on a jazz musician struggling to save both his fading career and troubled home life during the dawn of rock ‘n roll in America.
The company will also feature Jeff Binder (Al), Kevin Geer (Jonesy), Michael Mastro (Ziggy), Angelica Torn (Patsy), and Frank Wood (Gene), all of whom were members of the original Broadway cast of the play. Casting for the role of Terry will be announced soon.
