Benjamin Eakeley, Howie Michael Smith, Kate Wetherhead, Joanna Young to Star in Engeman’s I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change

Benjamin Eakeley, Howie Michael Smith, Kate Wetherhead, and Joanna Young will star in the John W. Engeman Theater’s production of I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, running at the Northport venue from July 5-August 19.

BT McNicholl directs the long-running Off-Broadway favorite, which a book and lyrics by Joe DiPietro and music by Jimmy Roberts. The musical revue looks at the trials and tribulations of relationships, single life, dating, marriage, loss, and heartbreak. The creative team includes Antoinette DiPietropolo (choreography), James Cunningham (musical director), Jonathan Collins (scenic design), Ryan J. Moller (costume design), Joel Silver (lighting design), Craig Kaufman (sound design), and Mark Adam Rampmeyer (hair and make-up design).

Eakeley’s Broadway credits include Sweeney Todd and On A Clear Day, You Can See Forever. Smith played the role of Princeton and Rod in the Broadway production of Avenue Q over 1000 times. Wetherhead has been seen in the Broadway productions of The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Legally Blonde, and is the creator of the web series Submissions Only. Young was most recently seen in Off-Broadway’s Rated P…For Parenthood.
