Arija Bareikis, Matt McGrath, Sam Robards, et al. to Star in Bay Street’s Bell, Book & Candle

Full casting has been announced for Bay Street Theatre’s production of John Van Druten’s Bell, Book & Candle, to run June 2-28, with an opening set for June 6. Jack Hofsiss will direct.

The play, which served as the inspiration for the hit television series Betwitched, is set in Manhattan’s east side, where a witch decides to use magic to stop her neighbor from marrying, until she is confronted with an unexpected twist.

The cast will include Arija Bareikis as Gillian Holyroyd, Sam Robards as Shepherd Henderson, Matt McGrath as Nick Holyroyd, Gordana Rashovich as Miss Holyroyd, and Jarlath Conroy as Sidney Redlitch.

The creative team will include Gary Hygom (set), Toni Leslie-James (costumes), Paul Miller (lighting), and Jill B.C. DuBoff (sound).
