Sag Harbor's Bay Street Theatre has announced the schedule for its upcoming Summer Kids Theater Camps in August. The five-day camps will run 9:30am–12:30pm and focus on the age groups 7-9 and 9-12 at the Southampton Arts Center and Studio 3 in Bridgehampton.

August 4-8 will find fairy tales colliding when students 7-9 create their own play in the make-believe world. That same week, children ages 9-12 will play with the work of Shakespeare and Dr. Seuss as they come up with a new version of Hamlet.

The next week, August 11-15, is geared for children 9-12. Kids will create a musical based on their lives using their favorite songs from the world of Broadway. Shakespeare will be back August 25-29 with a journey for children ages 7-9 into A Midsummer Night's Dream. Students will also get the chance to meet Bay Street's roster of Mainstage artists as part of a special activity during each camp.

The summer camps will be led by Julie Motyka, Bay Street Theater's director of education, and Megan Minutillo, Bay Street's summer education intern.
