Adam Pascal, Anthony Rapp, Judith Ivey, Darrell Hammond, et al. Set for Bay Street’s 2011 Season

Bay Street Theatre has announced that former Rent stars Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp will perform their acclaimed show, Adam and Anthony Live! In Concert at 8pm on June 13.
As previously reported, Saturday Night Live alum Darrell Hammond will star as Truman Capote in the company’s upcoming production of the biodrama Tru, written by Jay Presson Allen. Judith Ivey will direct the production, which runs May 31-June 26, with an opening on June 4.
Trip Cullman will direct Christopher Durang’s dark comedy, Betty’s Summer Vacation, to run July 5-31, with an opening on July 9. The play is about a young woman who spends the summer in a beach town which soon becomes a nightmare of a summer share.
The summer season will end with Enter Laughing: The Musical, to run August 9- September 4, with an opening on August 13. Featuring a book by Joseph Stein, with music and lyrics by Stan Daniels, it is based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Carl Reiner, and tells the story of an errand boy from the Bronx who makes a delivery to the Big City with dreams of making it on the Great White Way. Stuart Ross will direct.
