Engeman Theater Announces Cast, Creative Team for Little Women

The John W. Engeman Theater in Northport, New York has announced cast and creative team information for its production of Little Women, to play March 12-April 19, with an opening on March 14. Alan Souza will direct, with musical direction by Donny Jones and choreography by Karl Christian.

Based on Louisa May Alcott’s own family experiences (and novel), the musical — with music by Jason Howland, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and book by Alan Knee — follows the adventures of Jo, Meg, Beth and Amy March as they grow up in Civil War America.

The cast will feature Sara Sheperd (Jo March), Gary Lindemann (Professor Bhaer), Kally Duling (Amy March), Kim Carson (Meg March), Amber Ward (Beth March), Anne Tolpegin (Marmee March), John Little (Mr. Laurence), Artie Sievers (Laurie Laurence), Barbara Tirrell (Aunt March), and Josh Adam Davis (John Brooke).

The design team will include Paul Weimer (set), Patricia E. Doherty (costumes), Martin E. Vreeland (lighting), and Katherine Miller (sound).
