Lewis J. Stadlen and Chip Zien will star in The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport production of Neil Simon’s The Sunshine Boys, to be presented February 2-March 25, with an opening on February 4. BT McNicholl will direct.

The comedy follows two faded vaudeville legends, Lewis (Zien) and Clark (Stadlen), as they reunite to perform their old act one last time. The only problem is they can’t stand each other.

The cast will also include Frank Vlastnick (Ben Silverman), Gayle Samuels (Nurse), Christina Calph (Sketch Nurse), Evan Teich (Eddie), and Scott Saperstein (Patient).

The design team will include Jonathan Collins (set), Tricia Barsamian (costumes), Martin E. Vreeland (lighting), Craig Kaufman (sound), and Mark Adam Rampmeyer (hair/wig)

Stadlen created the role of Ben Silverman in the original 1973 production of The Sunshine Boys, and received Tony nominations for his work in Candide in 1974 and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in 1996.

Zien created the roles of the Baker in Into the Woods and Mendel in Falsettos, with other Broadway credits including The People in the Picture, The Country Girl, and Les Miserables.
