Maggie Smith returns to the West End stage to star in the British Premiere of Edward Albee's The Lady from Dubuque. The show also features Catherine McCormack and is directed by Anthony Page.

Three young couples are playing twenty questions. The drinks are flowing, and the mood goes from good to bad in a very short time. The hostess is dying of cancer and the party ends when her pain becomes so intense that her husband must carry her to bed. Then a handsome, mysterious couple arrives to settle for the night, still remaining when the baffled young couple comes down for breakfast.
