Julie Andrews To Return to Stage with Concert at London's O2 Arena in May

Stage and screen star Julie Andrews will return to the stage in An Evening With Julie Andrews, a concert at London's 02 Arena, on May 8, according to a BBC report.

In the concert, Andrews will perform songs from her stage and screen career, including ones from her recent projects including the Shrek series and The Princess Diaries. She will be joined by an ensemble of five performers and the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. During the performance, Andrews will also narrate the children's book Simeon's Gift, which she wrote with her daughter with Emma Walton Hamilton.

Andrews won an Oscar in 1965 for her performance in Mary Poppins. Among her other film credits are The Sound of Music, Thoroughly Modern Millie, and 10, Her Broadway credits include Victor/Victoria, The Boy Friend, My Fair Lady, and Camelot.
