Brenda Blethyn to Return to UK Stage in Haunted

Brenda Blethyn will star in the Manchester Royal Exchange's world premiere of Edna O'Brien's "memory play" Haunted, to run May 13-June 13. The production will be Braham Murray.

Her recent stage credits include the Manchester Royal Exchange's recent production of The Glass Menagerie, for which she just won the TMA Award as Best Actress; Benefactors, Habeas Corpus, and Mrs Warren's Profession in the West End, and 'night, Mother and Absent Friends on Broadway. Her film work includes A River Runs Through It, Night Train, Little Voice, Saving Grace, and Secrets and Lies, for which she won a Golden Globe Award and an Oscar nomination.
