Shakespeares's Globe has announced complete casting for Nell Leyshon's Bedlam, to run September 5 -October 1. Jessica Swale will direct the production, which will be designed by Soutra Gilmour and have original music by Olly Fox.

The play, set in the 18th Century, presents a fictional portrayal of the infamous London hospital for the insane.

The company will feature Jason Baughan (Dr Carew), Patrick Brennan (John), Daon Broni (Billy), Phil Cheadle (Dr Maynard), Sam Crane (Laurence), Sophie Duval (Sal), Christopher Godwin (Samuel), Sean Kearns (Richard), James Lailey (Tom O'Bedlam), Danny Lee Wynter (Oliver), Rose Leslie (May), Kevork Malikyan (Bookie/John James/Visiting Man), Barbara Marten (Annabel), Joseph Timms (Matthew), Ella Smith (Phyllis), Lorna Stuart (Stella), Finty Williams (Gardenia), and Jade Williams (Nancy), along with Charlotte Dodds, Alex Shaw, Jessica White, and Chris Wynn.
