Jessie Wallace, Brian Capron, and Rosemary Ashe will star in the 25th anniversary revival of Richard Harris' award-winning play Stepping Out, which launches a 12-week tour on September 8 from the Leatherhead Theatre in Surrey, where the play was first performed in 1984.
The production, to be directed by Richard Baron, will play Glasgow, Stoke-on-Trent, Preston, Manchester, Torquay, Bromley, Eastbourne, and Jersey, among other venues. Additional casting has not been announced.
The play is set in a dusty church hall in north London, where an ex-professional dancer holds a weekly tap class for a well-intentioned if not overly talented troupe -- who are later invited to perform at a charity gala.
