Earl Carpenter, Gareth Gates, John-Owen Jones Set for Les Miserables 25th Anniversary Tour

Based on Victor Hugo's classic humanitarian novel about a persecuted man, Jean Valjean, in 19th-century revolutionary France, Les Miserables has a book by Alain Boublil, music by Claude-Michel Schonberg and lyrics by Herbert Kretzmer. This new production is directed by Laurence Connor and James Powell and designed by Matt Kinley, inspired by the works of Victor Hugo and John Napier. Original costumes are by Andreane Neofitou, lighting by Paule Constable, and sound by Mick Potter.
Following Cardiff in 2010, Les Miserables will visit Manchester (January 19- February 13), Norwich (February 16-March 20), Birmingham (March 23-April 17) and Edinburgh (April 20-May 15) before it heads to The Chatelet in Paris, with further dates to be announced.
