Jude Law, Mark Rylance, Rachel Weisz et al. Win Critics' Circle Theatre Awards in London

The winners of the 21st annual Critics' Circle Theatre Awards have been announced in a ceremony held at the Delfont Room at the Prince of Wales Theatre.

Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's Spring Awakening has won as Best Musical. Jez Butterworth's Jerusalem has been named Best New Play, and Mark Rylance has won Best Actor for his performance in the production.

Other winners include Jude Law, who won a Best Shakespearean Performance award for his performance in Hamlet; Rachel Weisz, who was named Best Actress for her portrayal of Blanche Dubois in A Streetcar Named Desire; Rupert Goold, who won for his direction of Enron; and Tom Sturridge who received an award as Most Promising Newcomer for his turn in Punk Rock.
