WHAT IS IT ABOUT?

Anton Chekhov changed the course of modern theater with the premiere performance of The Seagull at the Moscow Art Theatre in 1896. Ushering the next millennium, the new approach to writing and stage technique stands once again on the brink of a new age challenging the past to face the future. Adrian Noble directs this tapestry of relationships creating a history during which we follow the heartbreak and change of each member of this artisitc company of friends and family. Leading stage and television actress Penelope Wilton returns to the stage as Arkadina.
