WHAT IS IT ABOUT?
West Yorkshire Playhouse's revival of Singin' in the Rain is directed by Jude Kelly. The show is set in Hollywood in the 1930's. Lockwood and Lamont, romantic couple of the silent movies, face difficulties while making the transition to talkies. Lina Lamont has the most irritating voice known to man and Don Lockwood is quickly falling in love with the woman who is dubbing Lina's voice!
